"Changing the World, One Dog and One Inmate at a Time:"Two women began a dog-training program for stray pups at correction facilities in Virginia. This was the basis for Animal Planet's "Cell Dogs" program. September 2004.

"The Dr. Phil of Dogs:"Los Angeles-based animal guru Warren Eckstein, host of "The Pet Show" radio program, does his part to help homeless animals. September 2004.
