I created the following cover designs while working at the Orange Independent newspaper using Quark and PhotoShop. "What the Tide Brought In" is the paper I design for my adviser work with elementary schools in the Los Angeles area. Students choose and write the stories, and I design their all-school paper using Quark.
I am available to work with Southern California-area elementary and middle schools, both public and private, to create after-school journalism programs. In the 8-week course, I teach the basics of newswriting, feature writing, reporting, editorial writing and editing. These are held three times per year.
