The Hanson brothers, of course, had a blast making the sequel to the highly popular hockey cult film Slap Shot.

But so did the other stars involved.

Gary Busey, who plays the team owner, preached his love for the film in between takes in Vancouver, Canada.

"It was more fun than I imagined," he says, chomping on a cigar. "I create my characters, give birth to them. When the cameras start rolling, I’m not acting. I haven’t had a character [in a long time] I can get my teeth into [like this]."

Stephen Baldwin, the youngest of the famous Baldwin brothers, plays Mark Linden, the veteran coach of the Charlestown Chiefs minor league hockey team. He gets displaced by a female coach (played by Jessica Steen) when the team is sold to man who changes the it to a Harlem Globetrotters-type of organization.

"This was metaphysical for me," Baldwin says of his experience.

Canadian-born actress Steen, who is best-known for her stint on the television show "Homefront," learned to skate in record time when she was offered a role in this film. And the power training sessions have all been so worth it for her.

"To have the opportunity to be sporting and tough, yet still get to be a woman [that’s why I took the job]," she says. The Lori Petty look-alike then adds: "And who would turn down the opportunity to hang with a bunch of awesome men [all day]?"
